Every time you bat an eyelash a new product is being released by one of technology conglomerates that are out there. Lately Apple has been racking up the releases and its latest attempt is with the iPad 2. Anyone worth their salt that wants to stay up to date with the latest technology will surely purchase the new version of the product, but is it worth it?

When the original iPad came out it was in my possession within the first couple of weeks. It is a product that has helped increase by productivity dramatically and its something that really helps me when I don’t feel like brining out my laptop. In terms of upgrading however I have stayed away up until this point, and the reason is that I just do not feel as if it does enough beyond what I already have.

Once the new iPad was released an update was made available to all iPad users and doing this gives you the software of the iPad 2 so that all you are currently missing is the FaceTime capability and the “built in” cover. Those two features are not enough for me to justify spending 500, whether or not they are for you is something you will have to decide for yourself.
